On Tuesday, the local health agency said it was investigating the outbreak at Piper Arms Stoney Creek at 1786 Stone Church Rd. E.

Of the nine confirmed cases, seven have been hospitalized, Hamilton Public Health says.

The cases developed symptoms between March 30 and April 5. Hamilton Public Health says symptoms include diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain and chills.
