A First Nation in northern Saskatchewan has gone into lockdown after four members living on reserve tested positive for COVID-19.
Orders from Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation Chief Peter Beatty on Thursday said travel in and out of communities including Pelican Narrows, Deschambault Lake and Southend will be restricted to essential and medical reasons effective 7 a.m., and will continue “until further notice.”
“We have been through this before,” Beatty said in an announcement shared across social media.
