App provides confidential way to screen for PTSD, anxiety and depression
A First Nation police service covering communities on Manitoulin and the North Shore has adopted a new tool designed to support the mental health of its first responders.
“Our members face unique and demanding challenges every day, and their well-being is our top priority,” said UCCM Anishnaabe Police chief James Killeen in a release. “Healthy responders mean stronger service to our community, and we’re proud to be the first Indigenous police service to adopt this innovative program.”
