Health Services in Indigenous Communities: Advocates Call for Federal Action – CPAC

Irving Gold, the CEO of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy, and Luciana Nechita, the CEO of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada, hold a joint press conference in Ottawa. The speakers are calling on the federal government to remove the barriers that prevent Indigenous communities’ from accessing health services such as occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and audiology services under Jordan’s Principle and the Inuit Child First Initiative.
