Chief Bobby Cameron says he wants First Nations included in federal-provincial discussions around how to prioritize distribution.
The chief of the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations is questioning the commitment of federal and provincial governments to getting First Nations people vaccinated against COVID-19.
“The Prime Minister said no relationship is more important than the one with First Nations people, but we are not included in their discussions with the Province about who is prioritized and most vulnerable. Being excluded from these life altering discussions shows that First Nations are not a priority for either government,” Cameron said in an FSIN media release.
