Chatham-Kent Public Health is warning people who visited any of several sites in Chatham or Blenheim in southwestern Ontario last week that they may have been exposed to measles.
The warning follows an announcement last Friday that a student at Chatham Christian School had contracted the disease.
CK Public Health said others may have been exposed to the virus at the following times and in the following places:
Growing Together Family Resource Centre — W.J. Baird Site at 182 King St., Blenheim from March 4 to 7 from 7:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Families of the affected individuals have been notified and CK Public Health is working with daycare administration to provide guidance to staff and families.
EarlyON — W.J. Baird Site at 182 King St., Blenheim on March 4 and March 6 between 7:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Tim Hortons at 41 Park Ave., Chatham on March 6 from 4:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Country Kitchen at 415 Richmond St., Chatham on March 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Walmart at 881 St Clair St., Chatham on March 7 from 11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
