World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Viral Hepatitis coming Aug. 8-9, continuing education credits available – Publicnow

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is pleased to partner with the World Hepatitis Alliance to host the second gathering of the World Indigenous Peoples’ Conference on Viral Hepatitis, Aug. 8-9 in Anchorage at Alaska Pacific University.

The event is led by Indigenous people and is designed for Indigenous peoples, clinicians, and those working in Indigenous health, including the Alaska Tribal Health System. The first conference held in Alice Springs, Australia was the first of its kind dedicated to examining the health burden of viral hepatitis on Indigenous peoples. Continuing education credits are available for conference attendees.

ANTHC is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
