Ottawa Public Health reported 19 more COVID-19 cases Monday. Eighty-five per cent of its eligible residents are now fully vaccinated.

While the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit celebrates its sky-high vaccination uptake, the City of Cornwall is sounding the alarm over its rate that’s one of the lowest in the province.

How many cases are there?

As of Tuesday, Ottawa has a total of 30,335 cases of COVID-19. There are 289 known active cases, 29,448 cases are considered resolved, and 598 people have died from the illness.
