Canada’s national vaccine task force will advise Canadians and health officials they can combine either the AstraZeneca-Oxford, Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna shots interchangeably in certain situations.

A news conference on the change is expected at noon ET.

The province blames a “clinic configuration issue” as the source of an ongoing problem with its online booking system that’s causing Ottawa Public Health to pause making and moving appointments.

It’s also affecting the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.
