Ontario’s licensed child-care workers can start booking COVID-19 vaccine appointments Thursday. People age 45 to 49 in its provincial hot spots can now make an appointment, lowing that age limit.

A network of Ottawa pediatricians say they’re dealing with wide range of mental health issues brought on by the pandemic.

Local contractors say their industry is in turmoil because few can agree on what constitutes essential work for home renovations, and many complain they can’t get a straight answer from the province.
