What’s the latest?

Ontarians as young as 40 are now eligible to receive the AstraZeneca-Oxford COVID-19 vaccine at pharmacies, with slots quickly filling up this week in Ottawa.

Quebec’s premier is speaking at 1 p.m. ET and is expected to discuss that province’s AstraZeneca eligibility. There’s also a national task force AstraZeneca update at 1:15 p.m.

People in Ottawa will have to wear masks within five metres of playground equipment as of Wednesday, with some exceptions for younger children.
