All capacity limits in restaurants, bars, retail businesses, cinemas and gyms are now lifted in Ontario. These limits at sports arenas, concert venues and theatres are now 50 per cent.
Social gathering limits are up to 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. Organized public events are capped at 50 people indoors, with no limit outdoors.
Residents in Quebec care homes will no longer have to isolate for 10 days if another resident or staff member on their floor tests positive for COVID-19. They will have to isolate for 5 days if they are in contact with someone who later tests positive for more than 10 minutes without a mask.
Thousands of Canadians have a medical condition that puts them more at risk for developing complications in case of infection from COVID-19. Some of them are now facing a more anxious future as many provinces, in an attempt to get things back to normal or learn to live with COVID-19, announce the lifting of measures.
