Recently the federal government designated September 30 as National Day for Truth and Reconciliation for federally regulated workplaces. While we are not a federally-regulated workplace, in respect for the survivors and in honour of those who did not come home from residential school, WAHA will be designating September 30 as a statutory holiday for all employees.
