WAHA Medical Travel Weight Restrictions

The WAHA charter, local medical van, water ferry, and helicopter provide travel for patients (escorts) attending medical appointments.

All patients (escorts) are restricted to 25 pounds when utilizing medical transportation. The only exception is medical equipment i.e. dialysis equipment and wheelchair.

By exceeding the weight restriction:

• Luggage has to be removed
• Creates time delays
• Affects the Pilot’s duty time

Passengers are responsible for making alternative arrangements for any baggage over the limit.
