Virtual Engagement Session for Residents of Leaf Rapids, Manitoba: January 26, 2022

On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, representatives from Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak (MKO) and Keewatinohk Inniniw Minoayawin (KIM) will host a virtual engagement session for residents of Leaf Rapids, Manitoba.

MKO and KIM are hosting this engagement session to share information and ask for input from Leaf Rapids residents about their health care system and services. This session is being held in light of the recent closure of the Leaf Rapids Health Centre.

While the health centre is set to re-open on Monday, January 24 at 4:00 pm, MKO and KIM are seeking to learn more about how the current health services are impacting Leaf Rapids residents. A majority of Leaf Rapids citizens are from MKO First Nations.

MKO and KIM have also created a short survey for Leaf Rapids citizens to help gather information. We are asking Leaf Rapid residents to complete the short online survey by midnight on January 25, 2022.
