The province will be expanding vaccine eligibility to those regions using the provincial booking system this week.
Starting Tuesday at 8 a.m., those with at-risk health conditions such as dementia, diabetes and sickle cell disease, as well as Group Two of people who cannot work from home including grocery store, restaurant and transportation workers will be eligible to book an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
On Thursday, starting at 8 a.m. those turning 40 in 2021 or older in non-hotspot communities will also be eligible to book an appointment at a mass immunization clinic.
This does not include Durham because the region uses its own booking system, and the region is moving ahead sooner than the province.
