UHNBC Ultrasound System will benefit from Cougars mega 50/50 draw – Prince George Ctizen

The Prince George Cougars Mega 50/50 to be drawn Saturday night will fund specialized hospital equipment through the partnership between the local hockey team and the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
The equipment, called the Philips EPIQ Elite Diagnostic Ultrasound System, will see better outcomes for patient treatment and care that could ultimately save patients from surgery or being sent to the Lower Mainland for treatment.
Features of the Philips EPIQ Elite Diagnostic Ultrasound System include:
-The wait time for procedures will be greatly reduced.
– There will be less risk of infection and complications.
