Tribe to Host Presentation on Health Exchanges

On March 27, 2013 Elliott Milhollin, an attorney with Hobbs, Straus, Dean and Walker will present on Health Exchanges.  He will make the presentation to the community at 6:00 p.m. in the lobby of the Tribal Community Building.

The Affordable Care Act was passed into law March 2010 putting in place comprehensive reforms to improve access to affordable health coverage for everyone and protect consumers from abusive insurance company practices.  A Health Exchange is an organized marketplace to obtain health insurance. There is the individual exchange or an Employee Exchange. This presentation will address the health exchanges as they pertain to Natives and Mr. Milhollin will answer questions individuals may have.
