Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to unfold across Canada and around the globe. The Tŝilhqot’in National Government wants to share information to ensure that everyone is taking steps to decrease the spread of the Coronavirus at work, school and at home. Information is rapidly evolving and it is important that everyone does their part to stay informed and take the escalation of the Coronavirus seriously. Williams Lake and area are at low risk and, to date, there are no confirmed cases in the area, but TNG is taking the necessary precautions to ensure that we protect our people and employees.

What you can do to decrease the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19):

  • Practice good hygiene.
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Cough or sneeze into your sleeve or a tissue and dispose of immediately.
  • Avoid touching your face, eyes and mouth.
  • Stop handshaking.
  • Avoid unnecessary travel.
  • Stay home if you are feeling sick.
  • Monitor the situation. As the virus continues to unfold it’s important to stay up-to-date on verified information. Below are some public resources that you can visit to stay informed.
