New phase of COVID-19 restrictions beginning in more than half of Canada’s provinces

A new week is beginning with several provinces dropping COVID-19 restrictions.
Saskatchewan dropped its health restrictions effective Monday, including a requirement to wear a mask indoors.
While it’s no longer mandatory to do so, the province’s Health Ministry said it “continues to encourage residents to take the preventative measures that have proven to reduce the spread of COVID-19,” including vaccination, wearing masks if needed and making use of rapid tests.
