Today, Statistics Canada released Health of Canadians, 2024. This report offers a comprehensive overview of the state of population health in Canada using the latest data to highlight trends of key health indicators across several sociodemographic characteristics.
Labour productivity, hourly compensation and unit labour cost, fourth quarter 2024
Labour productivity of Canadian businesses increased 0.6% in the fourth quarter, after posting slight variations in each of the first three quarters of 2024. This was the highest quarterly growth rate in a year. For 2024, labour productivity of businesses resumed growth, rising by 0.6%, after declining over the previous three years.

Canadian Index of Multiple Deprivation: Dataset and User Guide, 2021
The Canadian Index of Multiple Deprivation (CIMD) is now available for 2021. The CIMD is an area-based index which uses Census of Population microdata to measure four key dimensions of deprivation at the dissemination area-level: residential instability, economic dependency, situational vulnerability and ethno-cultural composition. The CIMD allows for an understanding of inequalities in various measures of health and social well-being.
