Study: Cost-related avoidance of oral health services
In 2023/2024, more than one in four (28%) Canadians reported they had not visited an oral health care professional at all in the previous 12 months. Among Canadians who had not visited an oral health professional in the previous 12 months, nearly half (49%) said the barrier was the cost.
Exiting homelessness: Results from the 2022 Canadian Housing Survey
In 2022, one in eight households reported experiencing some form of homelessness previously. New data on homelessness exits reveal that financial factors, particularly improving employment income for people experiencing sheltered or unsheltered (39.2%) and hidden (45.9%) homelessness, were the most cited contributing factors to regaining housing.
