Consumer Price Index, March 2020
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 0.9% on a year-over-year basis in March, down from a 2.2% increase in February. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, the CPI declined 0.9% in March, following a 0.1% gain in February.
New Housing Price Index, March 2020
New home prices were up 0.3% at the national level in March.
Electric Power Selling Price Index, February 2020
The Electric Power Selling Price Index (2014=100) is now available for February.
Wool disposition and farm value, 2018
The volume of raw wool purchased directly from Canadian producers increased 9.6% from 2017 to 1.3 million kilograms in 2018. The average price paid for wool to Canadian producers in 2018 was $1.10 per kilogram.
Detailed preliminary data on confirmed cases of COVID-19, January 15 to April 20, 2020
A revised set of preliminary data on the number of confirmed novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reported by the provincial and territorial health authorities to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is now available. The set covers the period from January 15 to April 20, 2020.
