Detailed preliminary data on confirmed cases of COVID-19, January 15 to April 26, 2020
A revised set of preliminary data on the number of confirmed novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases reported by the provincial and territorial health authorities to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) is now available. The set covers the period from January 15 to April 26, 2020.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, March 2020
Millers milled 281 585 tonnes of wheat in March, while wheat flour production totalled 215 048 tonnes.
Oilseed crushing statistics, March 2020
Oilseed processors crushed 881 384 tonnes of canola in March. Oil production totalled 386 965 tonnes, while meal production totalled 495 163 tonnes.
Poultry and egg statistics, April 2020
Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats, as well as edible dried egg products, are available for April. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for March. Data on egg production are available for February.
Deliveries of major grains, March 2020
Data on major grain deliveries are now available for March.
Production and disposition of tobacco products, February 2020
Canadian manufacturers produced 1.4 billion cigarettes in February, up 17.5% from January. Cigarette production was 23.8% lower compared with February 2019.
