Canada in 2041: A larger, more diverse population with greater differences between regions
Today, Statistics Canada’s Centre for Demography is releasing a new set of detailed demographic projections to 2041 on immigration and ethnocultural diversity for Canada and its regions.

Net borrowings by Canadian corporations and governments in the form of debt securities, such as bonds, Treasury bills and commercial paper, totalled $89.5 billion in the second quarter, the fifth consecutive quarter for which new issues exceeded retirements. Canadian chartered banks led this activity.
Retail Commodity Survey, June 2022
Retail sales reached $67.8 billion in June, an increase of 11.1% compared with the same month in 2021. Higher sales were reported in 15 of the 18 commodity classes.
