Leading indicator of international arrivals to Canada, June 2025
In June 2025, the preliminary number of international arrivals to Canada (returning Canadian residents and non-residents combined) by air and automobile was 5.2 million, down 14.2% from June 2024. This was the fifth consecutive month of year-over-year declines.
Provisional death counts, January 2023 to April 2025
Today’s release includes new and updated adjusted counts of death from the Canadian Vital Statistics Death Database, covering the period from January 7, 2023, to May 3, 2025. The Provisional Deaths in Canada Dashboard, which provides the most recent insights on mortality trends, as well as interactive data visualization tools, has been updated.

Preliminary quarterly data on police-reported hate crime and cybercrime for the first quarter of 2025 are now available.
Data availability: 2019 General Social Survey – Canadians’ Safety (Victimization)
Today, Statistics Canada is releasing a table from the 2019 General Social Survey – Canadians’ Safety (Victimization). The table includes information about incidents of self-reported violent victimization experienced in the 12 months preceding the survey, by the proportion reported to the police, gender of the victim and geography (data table 35-10-0164-01).
