Decrease in the rate of police strength in Canada in 2022
In 2022, the rate of police strength was 181 officers per 100,000 population, down 1% from the year prior. There were 70,566 police officers in Canada on May 15, 2022, 406 more than on the same date in 2021.
Between April and August 2022, 98% of Canadians had antibodies against COVID-19 and 54% had antibodies from a previous infection
Statistics Canada is releasing data from the second cycle of the Canadian COVID-19 Antibody and Health Survey, whose purpose is to better understand the health of Canadians, the spread and longer-term impacts of COVID-19. This release, based on information collected between April and August 2022, focuses on the seroprevalence of antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Dairy statistics, January 2023
The total amount of milk sold off farms in January increased 2.6% year over year to 809 797 kilolitres. Meanwhile, milk sold off farms for fluid purposes was virtually unchanged year over year, at 223 347 kilolitres. Milk sold off farms for industrial purposes increased 3.6% year over year to 586 450 kilolitres.
Deliveries of major grains, February 2023
Data on major grain deliveries are now available for February.
Milled wheat and wheat flour produced, February 2023
Millers milled 250 509 tonnes of wheat in February, while wheat flour production totalled 191 601 tonnes.
Oilseed crushing statistics, February 2023
Oilseed processors crushed 812 001 tonnes of canola in February. Oil production totalled 336 866 tonnes, while meal production totalled 481 939 tonnes.
