Gross domestic product by industry, November 2024
Real gross domestic product decreased 0.2% in November with decreases in both services-producing and goods-producing industries.
Cancer incidence in Canada, 2022
Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada among both males and females, responsible for just over one in four deaths. In 2022, there were more than 160,000 cases diagnosed in provinces and territories where data are available, which represented an age-adjusted incidence rate of 563 cases per 100,000 people. Lung and bronchus, breast, prostate and colorectal are the four most commonly diagnosed cancers, accounting for around half of new diagnoses annually.

Energy statistics, November 2024
Primary energy production increased 2.1% in November, with five of the six subsectors posting gains. Secondary energy production rose 5.4%, with most of the increase coming from the refined petroleum products subsector (+6.7%).

Production and disposition of tobacco products, December 2024
Canadian manufacturers produced 728 million cigarettes in December 2024, down 45.6% from November 2024. Cigarette production was 37.7% lower compared with December 2023.
Poultry and egg statistics, January 2025
Data on stocks of frozen eggs and poultry meats, as well as edible dried egg products, are now available for January 2025. Data on the placements of hatchery chicks and turkey poults are available for December 2024, and data on egg production are available for November 2024.
