Gross domestic product by industry, February 2021
Real gross domestic product (GDP) grew 0.4% in February, following 0.7% growth in January, as 14 of the 20 industrial sectors were up.

In 2019, non-profit organizations (NPOs)—serving households, businesses and governments—employed 2.5 million people, representing 12.8% of all jobs in Canada. The employment share ranged between 12.4% and 12.8%, increasing during the 2010-to-2019 period.
Natural Resources Satellite Account: Human resource module, 2009 to 2019
In 2019, the natural resource sector employed 652,581 people, representing 3.4% of all jobs. Of those, 637,373 (or 97.7%) were employee jobs, while the remainder were self-employment.

In March, the Industrial Product Price Index increased 1.6% month over month and 10.0% year over year. The Raw Materials Price Index was up 2.3% month over month and up 34.7% year over year.
