In honour of September 30th the Residential School Special Committee shares a message to the community: Bigiiwayaun- Coming Home

We are dedicated to sharing our healingJoumey through many cultural and artistic expressions.

TIIPII CREATION: We have been working on this project through the guidance of Eva Couchie this past winter and are now working on harvesting our poles. We will be hosting a fundraising evening of performance and art In November with Fry bread.

You are invited to a free online event September 30 with dancer and community activator Christine Friday as she performs live in Oakville

Firewater Thunderbird Rising: is the transforrnative spirit of dance Ravelling through dimensional realms of existence – ancestors, dreams, blood memory and the land directly connected to our Anishlnaabek way of living, awakening the healing of our Nation’s future.
