Zach Stabb expects to stop in Brighton on Aug. 26

Zach Stabb is riding his bike From Saint Joseph’s Oratory in Montreal to Toronto’s CN tower to bring awareness to major water issues that Indigenous communities across the country face every day.

The 16-year-old will be on the road from Aug. 23 – 29 to raise funds to end water advisories, a trek that is 603 kilometre long.  Stabb says he is mentally and physically prepared for the task and that he is thankful for the support of his family.

“I’ve trained really hard the last month. I ride my bike all the time. Each training session, I get stronger,” he says. Stabb says he’s had to strategically map out a plan for each day. He says weather may be of concern, but other than that he says he’s quite confident.
