Submit Your Entry For The FNHMA & MNP Health Innovation Showcase!

Ottawa, ON, Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 – In partnership with MNP, the First Nations Health Managers Association (FNHMA) announces that entries are being accepted for the ‘FNHMA & MNP Health Innovation Showcase’.

Innovation comes in many forms, and some of the most innovative ideas are born from necessity. In healthcare, we know there are many excellent examples of innovative ideas and practices. FNHMA and MNP want to raise these innovations onto a national platform so that innovators can be celebrated, and their ideas shared with other health professionals to benefit First Nations health from coast-to-coast.

All First Nation health organizations entries that demonstrate innovation in health care will be showcased at the FNHMA National Conference November 5-7, 2018 in Banff, AB.

Examples of Innovations could include:

Improved Access to Care
Strengthened Health Governance
Introduced New Technology
Created New Clinical Knowledge
Formally Integrated Traditional Knowledge into Health Services
Created New Wise Practices
Established a New Partnership/Agreement
Overcame Jurisdictional Challenges
Encouraged Healthy Choices and Lifestyles

Submissions must be received by the entry deadline of September 19, 2018 by 5pm Eastern Time and can be emailed to: HealthInnovation@mnp.ca or faxed to (403) 269-8450.
