The Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation have declared a State of Emergency in response to the increasing number of opioid related harms to residents. As a result, you may see more police in near-by communities to help slow the flow of illicit drugs going into Pikwakanagan and the surrounding area. Anyone with information regarding illicit drugs in the region should contact the OPP.
