A member of the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan says they’re upset with the announcement that support of a mental health support program will come to an end.
“I’m really angry about that because if you know that your funding agreement is coming due…then you should be having a plan in place for your people,” says Coralee Fairbrother, who adds that she found out Tuesday about the closure.
Fairbrother says she suffers from Major Depressive Disorder and relies on medication and therapy to stay well. Her eight year old daughter also gets support through the program.
