Sexual Health Call for Abstracts and Presentations

Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada welcomes abstract submissions for consideration as, panel discussions, workshop presentations, cultural sharing and poster presentations.

If you are interested in submitting an abstract please complete the abstract form, abstract summary and biography.

Abstract submissions can be mailed, faxed or emailed to Pauktuutit Inuit Women of Canada.

Deadline for abstracts is December 15, 2007The following guidelines must be followed in preparing abstract submissions

1. All abstracts must indicate the type of presentation for which they are to be considered.

2. All abstracts submitted must address and identify a specific topic and meet the goal(s)/learning objective(s) for that topic.

3. Abstracts will be considered if they are evidence-based and present a Sexual Health and/or Resource Development impact and benefits perspective on Canadian Inuit, as well documented case studies, best practices, promising cultural and community-based research or significant field experiences with lessons learned.

4. All abstracts must discuss either (a) Sexual Health research or programs/projects conducted in, on behalf of, or with Inuit or Aboriginal/Indigenous communities, (b) Impacts of Resource Development on Inuit, Aboriginal/Indigenous peoples, or (c) how non-Inuit or non-Aboriginal results and lessons of the research or program/projects are directly applicable to Inuit.

5. Each Abstract submission form must include the presenting author’s signature.
