Service Reduction at Kugaaruk Family Wellness Office

The Department of Family Services is advising residents of Kugaaruk of a temporary closure of the Family Wellness offices from December 28, 2024, to February 5, 2025, due to staff shortages.

To receive services during the temporary closure, please contact an on-call Community Social Worker at 867- 222-9465. In the event of an emergency, please call your local RCMP at 867-769-1111.

Service reductions or closures are subject to change based on staff availability.

The Department of Family Services is working with partners to ensure Nunavummiut have access to necessary services while addressing staff shortages.
