Seeking applications for peer reviewers for the National Aboriginal Health Organization’s Journal of Aboriginal Health

The National Aboriginal Health Organization’s Journal of Aboriginal Health is seeking peer reviewers for the forthcoming issue on traditional health and healing.

Any interested academics or health care professionals and practitioners with a specialization in Inuit, Métis, and First Nations health, as well as traditional healers; and other First Nations, Métis and Inuit community members with a solid understanding of traditional health and healing issues, are invited to apply. The peer review panel will be comprised of a balanced representation of academic and community people.Applications are particularly encouraged from Aboriginal community-based (urban, remote or rural) practitioners and/or researchers whose work involves innovative, preventative or traditional approaches to health and healing.

Each reviewer is assigned an article of approximately 5,000 words. Each reviewer is given three weeks to complete the task.

Applicants should submit a CV and a cover letter by January 31, 2008 to:
