Reminder: Water advisory for Sanikiluaq

The Department of Health is reminding residents of Sanikiluaq that water for consumption should come from the reverse osmosis units that have been installed in each household.

It is essential to use water from the reverse osmosis units for the following uses:

• Drinking.
• Preparing infant formulas.
• Preparing juices and ice cubes.
• Washing fruits and vegetables.
• Cooking.
• Brushing of teeth.

Store-bought water is also safe to drink.
