Reminder: 2025 Anti-Poverty Fund Applications Are Still Being Accepted until March 14

The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) reminds all eligible organizations that applications for the 2025 Anti-Poverty Fund are still being accepted until March 14 2025. This $1.75 million fund supports initiatives aimed at reducing poverty and building stronger communities across the NWT.

Who Can Apply:

  • NWT Indigenous governments and community governing authorities
  • Non-governmental organizations demonstrating partnership or support from an Indigenous or community governing authority.

Eligibility Criteria:

Projects must:

  • Be located in the NWT
  • Align with at least one of the following Territorial Anti-Poverty Strategy priorities:
    • Children and Family Support
    • Healthy Living and Reaching Our Potential
    • Safe and Affordable Housing
    • Sustainable Communities
    • Integrated Continuum of Services

Application Deadline: 5:00 PM, March 14, 2025
