Proposals Sought for Homelessness Projects – 880 CKLQ

New funding from the federal government is allowing for local groups to ask for proposals for homelessness projects.

The Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation is coming together with the Brandon, Rural and Remote & Aboriginal Advisory Boards for Homelessness.

BNRC General Manager Carly Gasparini tells CKLQ more than 111-million dollars is being split with groups across the country.

“We can first of all, take the projects that we were already doing and provide them with more funding which will only make them better for our community,” said Gasparini. “We have some funding to provide back to the community for new projects.”
