Poverty Free NWT releases draft strategy for public feedback

Yellowknife (December 14, 2012) – The Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) has committed to take action against poverty as part of Poverty Free NWT, a partnership involving the GNWT, the federal and Aboriginal governments, business, industry, non-profit and nongovernmental organizations.

Partners have prepared an initial draft strategy for addressing poverty in the NWT and are seeking public input and feedback before preparing a final strategy.

To review the draft strategy, visit www.gov.nt.ca or www.alternativesnorth.ca.  Comments and feedback can be emailed to [email protected].
