Pikwakanagan partners with OV Ontario Health Team in new Indigenous health initiative – Trentonian

The Health Services Department of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation is partnering with the Ottawa Valley Ontario Health Team (OVOHT) in an initiative aimed at enhancing the health status of Indigenous People throughout the Ottawa Valley.
Pikwakanagan Indigenous engagement specialist Kevin Lamarr is scheduling an important series of information sessions to gather community feedback for the health initiative.
According to a press release from Pikwakanagan, these gatherings are a platform for change and a chance for every Indigenous voice to be heard.
