It’s a “commitment,” officials say, to deliver “culturally sensitive, patient-centred, and equitable” health care for Indigenous peoples in the northeastern Ontario.
Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services Inc., as a partner of the Maamwesying Ontario Health Team (MOHT), and North Shore Health Network (NSHN), signed an agreement Tuesday, what the two groups bill as a “strategic partnership” that signals a “major stride” toward achieving the Ontario Health Teams’s “overarching” objective of providing collaborative and integrated care.
