Outward Bound Canada / Council Fire 2014/2015 Healthy Active Living Program

2 Sessions Each Month — Every Other Saturday
10:00 AM — 4:00PM @ Evergreen Brickworks

Council Fire is now preparing for the 3″ round of the Outward Bound Canada program. The Outward Bound program is an outdoor education program that allows students to connect with nature, explore the outdoors, challenge them physically and mentally while completing fun activities and to earn a High School credit in Healthy Active Living. The program runs 2 Saturdays a month at Evergreen Brickworks and finishes with a 7 day Canoe and Portage trip to Algonquin Park in May 2015.

Outward Bound Canada’s Mission:  Outward Bound Canada is a not-for-profit, charitable, educational organization that cultivates resilience, leadership, connections and compassion through inspiring and challenging journeys of self-discovery in the natural world.

Hiking Geocaching
Learning to Build Shelter Outdoors Compass and Navigation
Canoeing 65 Foot Challenge Tower
Ice Skating
