OPA Annual Conference Postponed

Dear OPA members, friends and supporters,

As the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic continues to change rapidly, the OPA Council has made the decision to postpone our Annual Conference. This decision was made with the deepest concern for our attendees and everybody else involved in planning and executing such a complex event, especially in relation to their health and safety. This decision is in line with the policies currently being implemented by hospitals and by other health care organizations and with your feedback.

We are working with the Omni King Edward Hotel on rescheduling the Annual Conference and associated centennial celebrations for a later date. At this point, it is not realistic to move the program entirely online due to logistical challenges, including additional accreditation requirements.

We will be addressing details and actions resulting from this decision, including management of registration fees, as more information becomes available. Our Annual General Meeting will likely be held by electronic means and we will advise you on the date and the format of this event. Please stay tuned to our further communications.
