Office of the Wet’suwet’en shut-down due to Covid 19 Virus

RE:       Office Closure

The Executive Committee of the Office of the Wet’suwet’en, discussed the current status of covid 19 throughout our nation. The safety and wellness of our staff and members are at the forefront of their decision making.

Due rise of covid 19, it has been decided that all Departments of Office of the Wet’suwet’en must be shut down immediately. This is a part of the goal to stop the ongoing spread of Covid 19.

During this time, we wish to inform you that all staff are instructed “that all OW sanctioned, activities, programs and/or services cease effective immediately.

As our partners, we thank you for your understanding and patience. It is determined, the closure is effective October 21, 2021 – October 31, 2021, and may be extended to November 10, 2021.

It is our desire to reopen and resume operations in a timely and safe manner.
