Nunavut youth are invited to play action-adventure computer game

November 06, 2015

Are you a teenager who is feeling stressed? Do you want to feel better? Do you want to help your friends? Are you between 13-18 years old?

Then come and play SPARX, an action-adventure computer game that takes you on a journey travelling through a wild fantasy world of seven different territories. Your mission is to restore the balance and save this virtual world from sinking into despair.

As you unlock your inner adventurer, SPARX takes you on a journey from a dark world of gloom to a brighter reality.

SPARX is being tried in Nunavut and you can join in! You just may end up feeling better and, in the process, you’ll be helping out your friends – this is because once SPARX is tried by a few youth it may be adapted so that all Nunavut youth can play. Have your say to make this happen.

To learn more about SPARX and how to play the game, talk to a mental health worker in your community. You may be one of the lucky ones who gets to play! Refreshments will be provided!
