Nunavut Dental Registration Committee seeks two new members

The Department of Health is seeking two individuals to serve on the Nunavut Dental Registration Committee for a two-year term.
The Nunavut Dental Registration Committee is mandated by the Dental Profession Act to review and decide on applications for the licensing and registration of dental professionals in Nunavut.
The Department of Health is seeking:
- One public member who is not a licensed dental professional and is not an employee of the Government of Nunavut (GN); and
- One licensed dental professional.
Applicants should have a strong interest in the regulatory process and should be prepared to devote 1 to 1.5 hours every second week to review applications through a teleconference meeting. Experience in a health-related field would be an asset.
An honorarium is paid as per Directive 810, GN Financial Administration Manual.
