Nunavut Day Goodie Bags – Rankin Inlet

(July 9, 2025 – Rankin Inlet, NU) Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. (NTI) has been made aware that some of the candies included in the Nunavut Day goodie bags distributed at today’s Rankin Inlet celebrations were expired and showed signs of mold. We sincerely apologize for not identifying this issue earlier. The goodie bags were purchased from a vendor and delivered shortly before the event.

As a precaution, we strongly advise parents and caregivers to inspect their children’s goodie bags and dispose of any candy items. Thank you to those who brought this to our attention. We regret this oversight and are taking steps to ensure it does not happen again.
