Nunavut celebrates National Nursing Week

During National Nursing Week, May 7 to May 13 2018, the Government of Nunavut (GN) Department of Health wants to recognize the hardworking nurses in the territory.

Yes This Is Nursing is this year’s National Nursing Week theme, outlining the changes and opportunities brought by the use and advancement of information technology and especially, digital technology. Nunavut nurses rely on information technology to deliver health care to Nunavummiut throughout the territory’s remote, arctic communities.

Nunavut’s nurses advocate for their patients, their families and their communities.
